Clean, well maintained grounds, trails, buildings, toilet rooms. Did the 2.5 mile trail twice with a Saints Game tailgate break in between. Lots of birds. Nothing scary.
It needs more visitors to get more funding. Come and visit. Bring your bug spray.
A great place to go and relax. Nice walking trails and observation areas.

This is a great place to go when you're on a budget it's only $2 a person to get in and there's tons of things to do there are canoes there's boardwalks there's hiking they've and have bike trails and you can rent a cabin and bring the whole family up if everybody chips in it wouldn't cost a thing bring your own food camp out and enjoy what Louisiana has to offer just don't forget the bug spray
